Ricardo Pasillas is multi-talented. He is a drummer, multi-percussionist, and vocalist who has been performing professionally in the Los Angeles area, as well as internationally for the past 25 years. Concert band, jazz ensemble, marching band, jazz choir, symphonic band, and theater arts shaped Tiki’s early musical education.
Tiki became quite the acclaimed musician, having won numerous trophies and awards thru out his high school years including a Berklee College of Music summer scholarship. Tiki played a few local college bands. Barely getting his feet wet out of high school, he started freelancing with top 40 bands and occasionally with Buddy Rich alumni, bass player Curtis Olson through whom he played with Rosie Gains, Andy Narell, and Bradford Marsalis.
Working for a number of employers and artists started his upward spiral in the music scene with the likes of Justo Almario, Alex Acuña, and Abe Laboriel just to name a few. Tiki has been the drummer and percussionist for Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez, as well as the house percussionist for the Jimmy Kimmel show throughout the years, and keeps a busy schedule with so many more artists. With music fans everywhere, he is now recognized globally in the contemporary, Jazz, Brazilian, pop, as well as the Latin music scenes.
